Jamaal Womack, a Bronx, New York native, has dedicated his life to basketball as a distinguished player, coach, and mentor. He began his collegiate career at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, where he excelled as a guard for the Terriers from 2005 to 2009, later returning as an assistant coach for eight seasons.

Following his college career, Jamaal played professionally overseas, culminating in a championship with VIS ASD in Reggio Calabria, Italy. His time in Italy not only showcased his playing abilities but also deepened his appreciation for European basketball philosophies and Italian culture — laying the foundation for the Hoops & Heritage Global Society.

Currently, Jamaal serves as Co-Director of Ren’s United as well as an Investing Partner and Vice President of ASD VIS Reggio Calabria. His vision is to fuse the dynamic American style of training with the strategic European and Italian basketball methodologies, with a strong emphasis on player development. Partnering with VIS ASD President Luigi DiBernardo, he has established a unique transatlantic collaboration.

Under the "Hoops & Heritage Global Society" banner, the mission is to serve as a concierge service for student-athletes and their families, offering:

  • Special Training Clinics with world-class professionals

  • Exclusive Camps

  • High School and College Placement Assistance

  • Q&A sessions with industry leaders, including college coaches, professional athletes, distinguished academia, and more

The society provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to elevate basketball skills while immersing participants in a transformative cultural exchange — blending athletic excellence with a global perspective.
