What is the best airport to fly into?

The closest airport is Reggio Calabria Airport (REG). We will provide pickup from this airport.

Alternatively, parents can fly into Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF) (90-minute drive) and arrange transportation to the camp.

Do I need a valid passport?

Yes! Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. If your passport is set to expire before February 2026, renew it before traveling.

What if we arrive before August 24? Can we extend our trip?

Yes, families are welcome to arrive early or extend their stay, but we only provide airport transportation on the designated arrival and departure days (August 24 and August 31). If arriving outside these dates, you must arrange your own transportation.

Will there be transportation from the airport?

Yes, airport pickups will be provided from Reggio Calabria Airport (REG) and Reggio Calabria Train Station on August 24. If arriving at a different airport, families must arrange their own transportation.

Are we able to use our own travel agent?

Yes, you may book through your own travel agent, but you must coordinate with our travel agent on arrivals and departures to ensure proper scheduling for airport pickups and camp logistics.

Where will families stay?

Families are welcome to stay at the Hotel Villagio Club Altalia per availability. You are free to book other accommodations nearby as we will assist you in this process.

Can parents stay on campus?

Only parents of 3rd–5th grade players will be able to stay on campus. All other parents must book accommodations separately.

Are meals provided for parents?

Yes, parents are included in all scheduled dinners. Breakfast and lunch are available at the resort but may require an additional fee for parents.

What are the dining options at the resort?

The resort offers a full-service restaurant, and there are additional local dining options in the nearby town.

Can parents watch training sessions?

Yes, parents are welcome to observe all training sessions and games at both Resort Court and Botteghelle Arena.

Is transportation provided for parents to all locations?

Parents may ride with the players for all camp-related travel, but seating is limited. You may also arrange your own rental car for more flexibility.

Are there scheduled activities for parents?

While parents are free to explore the area, there is an excursion to Scilla on Wednesday and an excursion to Sicily on Saturday that parents are welcome to join.

What should parents pack?

Valid passport (must be valid for at least six months beyond travel dates)

Casual summer clothing (temperatures will be warm)

Comfortable walking shoes (especially for excursions)

Swimwear (for beach excursions)

Portable phone charger & power adapter (Italy uses Type F/L plugs, 230V)

Travel insurance (highly recommended)

What should players pack?

Will there be WiFi at the resort?

Yes, the hotel provides WiFi access, but service may be limited in some areas.

Can parents contact players during camp?

Yes, but players will have limited phone access during training and games. We encourage parents to communicate with them during free time.

What happens in case of an emergency?

The camp has medical staff on-site, and the nearest hospital is 20 minutes away. Parents will be notified immediately in case of an emergency.

When should families plan to depart?

The camp officially ends on Sunday, August 31, with airport shuttles available throughout the day.


What if we need to leave earlier?

Families needing early departures should notify camp staff in advance to arrange transportation accordingly.
